1-2-Double Jab-Slip-Roll-Overhand-Front Upper

This combination blends foundational entry, high-volume control, evasive head movement, and powerful angle-changing counter-punches to dismantle an opponent's guard.

  • 1 (Jab): Start with a quick, straight punch using the lead hand to measure distance, disrupt the opponent's rhythm, and force them to raise their guard.
  • 2 (Straight Back Hand): Follow immediately with the rear power hand down the middle, deriving power from the full rotation of the hips and torso to capitalize on the initial setup.
  • Double Jab (1-1): Fire two rapid lead-hand straight shots to reinforce control, re-establish range, blind the opponent's vision, and reset the cadence.
  • Slip: Anticipate a straight counter-punch and shift your head off the centerline, evading incoming fire while preparing your weight transfer.
  • Roll: Drop your level by bending the knees and moving your upper body in a U-shaped motion under an incoming hook. This evasive movement loads your hips and core like a coiled spring for return fire.
  • Overhand (Rear Hand): Explode out of the roll with a looping rear-hand overhand punch that arches over the opponent's raised guard and lands around the temple or ear.
  • Front Upper (Lead Uppercut): Drive a lead uppercut straight up the middle through the opponent's center line, exploiting the high-to-low opening created by the overhand to finish with authority.
