Jab-Double Jab-Triple Jab

Why so many jabs? Your jab is arguably the most important punch in boxing. It sets the distance, controls your opponent, creates openings, and sets up powerful combinations. By mastering the jab, you gain control of the fight.

This week's combo challenges you to throw multiple jabs in succession. Can your opponent defend against one jab? How about two, three, or even five? When in doubt, jab! If your arm gets tired, it's a sign you need to work on your jab endurance.
Remember, even if your jab doesn't land, it serves a purpose. Your opponent is not likely to walk into a punch thrown into the air. It keeps your opponent at bay, disrupts their rhythm, and forces them to react. Never underestimate the power of a well-placed jab, even from a distance. Don't forget to stay under your jab to avoid an overhand right as a reaction!
