Jab-Block Body-Front Upper-2-Roll-Back Hook to Body
Jab: The combo starts with a jab. This is your setup punch, designed to test your opponent's guard and create a reaction. In this scenario, you're baiting them to throw a counter to your body.
Block Body: After the jab, you immediately prepare for a body shot. As your opponent counters with a shot to your side drop your elbow and brace your core with a side crunch, as a body block. Your glove should remain by your face to protect your head.
Front Upper: As you absorb the body shot, you immediately spring back with a front uppercut. Since your opponent's face is now closer and lower from their body shot, this punch has a clear path to connect.
2: You immediately follow up the uppercut with a straight back hand. The opponent will be disoriented from the front uppercut, and the straight back hand will land cleanly.
Roll: As you finish with the straight, you anticipate a counter. You roll under their return punch (typically a hook or another straight), using the momentum of your weight shift to get your head offline. This is a critical defensive move that allows you to evade their shot and set up your own counter.
Back Hook to Body: As you finish your roll, you finish with a back hook to the body. Your opponent's guard is likely high from the upstairs punches, leaving their ribs and liver exposed. This is the perfect time to land a powerful body shot.
