2-Roll-Hook Body-Upper-Roll-Hook Body
Straight Back Hand (2): You start with a hard, straight punch from your rear hand. This is your power shot. It is meant to land cleanly and with force, or to draw a reaction from your opponent that you can exploit.
Roll: Immediately after throwing the straight back hand, you perform a defensive roll to the same side (for an orthodox stance, this means a right-handed punch followed by a roll to the right). The roll is a swift head and torso movement to evade an opponent's counter-punch, which would likely be a straight or hook coming from their front hand.
Hook Body: As you finish the roll and are coming back up, you deliver a hook to the body on that same side. Your opponent will be open on this side, as their own punch has created an opening. This is a great way to punish them for their counter-attack.
Upper: You immediately follow the body shot with a lead-hand uppercut up the middle. This punch is designed to go right through the center of your opponent's guard as they are recovering from your body shot.
Roll: You then roll to the other side (for an orthodox stance, to your left). This defensive move prepares you to evade a potential counter-attack from the opponent's other hand.
Hook Body: As you finish this second roll and are coming back up, you deliver a hook to the body on this new side, capitalizing on the opening created by their movement or counter-punch.
