1-2-Step Back-2-Step Right-2-3-2
- 1-2-Step Back-2: Start with your classic 1-2 (jab-straight back hand). As your opponent advances, create distance by stepping back with your back foot while pushing off with your front foot. As you complete the step, use the momentum to load your back leg and fire off another powerful straight (2).
- Step Right: If your opponent continues to press forward, take a step to the right (or left, for southpaws) to create an angle. This throws off their momentum and sets you up for a clean straight from the side.
- 2-3-2: Finish strong with straight back hand from the side, front hook down the middle as your opponent tries to block the straight shot, then follow through with another straight as the stumble to protect from that hook down the middle
